âOxygenâ Still Leaves Readers Breathless
As this review is published, in an alternate-world version of Aug. 14, 2012, Christian and scientist Valkerie Jansen is about to join the first manned Mars mission.
âThe Dark Manâ Lurks In Dreams
âThe Dark Manâ presents a powerful, mysterious metaphor by classic use of vivid dream-visions.
âA Star Curiously Singingâ Shines In A Dark, Droning World
To finish this first âDarkTrench Sagaâ novel by Kerry Nietz, I stayed up late. A fictitious robot wasnât the only high note in this original science-fiction tale.
Review: The Gift
This second in the dystopian Chiveis Trilogy will be a book those who love fantasy and who want a story with a Christian worldview will enjoy. I suspect there will be more Litfin fans coming on board because of The Gift.
A Worthy Successor To âThe Lord Of The Ringsâ
In âDaughter of Light,â Morgan Busseâs mythology is impressive, her characters realistic, and her themes truthful. Buy it and read it. It is truly fantastic.
âKönigâs Fireâ Blazes With Dark Beauties and Truths
âDeus et natua non faciunt frusta.â âGod and nature do not work together in vain.â Neither do the history and paranormal, and evil and good of this superb thriller.
Book Review: Replication
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a page-turner. It’s not hard science fiction. You might even call it near-near future because the story had a very contemporary feel. Iâd also say the book is not one only teens will enjoy. They will, but adults who have teens or who taught teens or who were teens can enjoy it too. In short, this is a book readers will want to get a hold of. I suggest you do so ASAP!
Book Review: Angel Eyes
I hope Frank Peretti endorses Shannon’s next book. He should. She is marvelously contributing to the supernatural/spiritual warfare genre he established with the Darkness books years ago. Although this book is directed at young adults, all-the-way-grown-up adults can enjoy it just as well. A must read for Christians.
âHero, Second Classâ Haves At Hackneyed Fantasies
I could offer humor critiques, but it’s too hard to kid this masterful kidder. âHero, Second Classâ is ultimately a unique and hilarious read.
Authorâs Humility and Skill Makes âFirebirdâ Soar
Though this military-veteran reviewer had some difficulties with the violence, this author-annotated space-opera series is masterful.
Christ Is Shown and Told In Perettiâs âThe Visitationâ
Some question Frank Perettiâs spiritual warfare novels. Far better is his fantastic, nearly literary exploration of the true Jesus versus false christs.
Prepare For The Horrific In ‘Beckon’ By Tom Pawlik
I highly recommend Beckon to adults who love the creepy, the bone-chilling, the fear-inspiring, and to those who want to consider the issues of life and immortality. It’s a good story filled with tension and intrigue and packaged in a unique structure that enhances the reading experience.
John Carter: Pioneer Of New Worlds
Without Edgar Rice Burroughsâs âBarsoomâ novels, fantasy and sci-fi stories would likely not exist today.
