Sorry for my tardiness. I actually forgot that I was holding the drawing for the copy of Merrie Destefano’s book Afterlife.

After assigning a random number to those who commented on Merrie’s guest post, randomizing the lot, and drawing a number randomly (notice the theme here), I’m happy to announce that the winner of Afterlife is Morgan. Congratulations!

I’ll contact you with specifics about claiming your prize.

Were I mathematically inclined, I might dispute your concept of randomness. As it is, I can only draw on my pseduomath knowledge from watching Numb3rs (I never could get the hang of complex fractals). Regardless, congrants Morgan.

Well, Michelle, I used to make up objective tests for my students, and in so doing, I learned that I did in fact have a propensity to form patterns. Hence, in this drawing, and others, I try to take out the human equation as much as possible. In the end, I threw numbered sheets of paper on the floor, and blindfolded (well, I did cover my eyes) pick up the winning number. 😀

The happy news is, the CSFF Blog Tour is planning on featuring Afterlife, and that might give others a chance to win a copy. You never know.

At any rate, thanks to all who commented.

    Becky
