1. I think one reason I haven’t figured out many holidays for my story worlds is because I haven’t decided all the necessary things about their calendars. And of course, in order to do that, I need to decide things like how big the planets are, what heavenly bodies are near them that would affect seasons and years, etc. Though there are some worlds of mine that are in the spiritual realm and wouldn’t be governed by those things.

Though, what I had figured out for my assassins is that some of their guilds kind of absorbed some of the holiday celebrations of other cultures near them, and their more ‘traditional’ holidays primarily celebrate both the first and last day of each year.

I kind of didn’t understand the days of Christmas thing growing up, either. As a kid, I attended a church that called itself non denominational, though from what I understand that’s a pretty vague category. At the very least, it’s a Protestant church, and we really only celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and has a happy New Year!

    • Travis Perry says:

Hey if you ever need help calculating orbits and calendar periods of worlds, I can probably help you.

As for Christmas, mine was good and I hope yours was, too. And Happy New Year to you, too!

      • I’ll keep that in mind, thanks 🙂

Christmas was good, though I like the holiday enough that it usually makes me feel a little happy regardless of what actually happens during that time XD. I’m glad you had a good holiday.

  2. Also, it was the day that good King Wenceslas went out.

What do you think?
